We have helped raise in excess of £800,000 in 5 years for our local charity partners and hundreds of UK charities. This year we’re delighted to be working with The Orpheus Centre, The Children’s Trust, Stripey Stork, The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance, SASH Charity, Loveworks, Samaritans of East Surrey and St Catherine’s Hospice.
Charities We Support | Run Reigate
The Orpheus Centre is an independent specialist college in Godstone, Surrey that focuses on developing independence skills through performing and visual arts and makes dramatic improvements to young disabled adults’ lives.
We believe that every young disabled person should have the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers and we offer a personalised study programme focusing on building independence, communication and social interaction skills through the arts, supported housing and a personal care service.
A local baby bank with a big heart. Stripey Stork collect donations of new and pre-loved items for babies and children (equipment, furniture, clothes and toys) and pass them on to families in need across Surrey and beyond via a network of health and community professionals.
Stripey Stork prides itself on passing on items in great condition. Families who receive items from Stripey Stork should feel they are receiving a gift and not a handout. Since starting in 2013 the group have responded to over 7500 requests for help and have passed items valuing more than £2.5m back into the community.
Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex, strives to save lives by providing the best possible care every minute of the day, every day of the year. They are an independent charity, so every penny they receive is truly valued.
They put the people who need them at the heart of everything they do. None of us ever know when we, our family, our friends or our community may need this vital service.
They need your support to keep flying high!
St Catherine’s Hospice is a local charity with a big ambition: to help everyone face death informed, supported and pain free. Providing expert hospice care, St Catherine’s is there for people in West Sussex and East Surrey when life comes full circle.
They also pioneer standards in end of life care through collaboration, research and training, reaching even more people facing death and bereavement. Your fundraising means they can be there when and where people need them most.
The UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury offering a range of specialist care, education and therapy services for children and young people from across the UK, including the UK’s largest rehabilitation centre for children with acquired brain injury (ABI) at its Tadworth Court site.

The charity for East Surrey Hospital and all the services provided by Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. We help your hospitals go above and beyond.
This year we need your help to transform care for the 500 local families each year whose babies arrive very prematurely (as young as 24 weeks), or very unwell, and who need the neonatal special care/intensive care unit at East Surrey Hospital.
We are building a brand new neonatal unit. Your support will help us go above and beyond what will be possible with NHS funding alone. Run Reigate in 2019 and support our very smallest patients (and their mums and dads).

Loveworks is a Reigate based charity that aims to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable groups of people in our local community. Loveworks main areas of focus are in running food banks, in Merstham and South Reigate, and projects to help support socially isolated individuals and build confidence and resilience in young people.
Samaritans is a charity where volunteers are available 24 hours a day to provide emotional support for people who are struggling to cope, including those who have had thoughts of suicide. Anyone can contact Samaritans at any time of day or night, for free, from any phone on 116 123 and the number will not show up on their phone bill. Or email email@example.com to find details of your local branch where you can talk to one of our trained volunteers face to face.
There is no typical reason someone might call us, just as there’s no typical person who contacts Samaritans. We’re there for people when they need us. No matter how large or small the issue, we’re here to listen. We offer a safe place for people to talk in their own way – about whatever’s getting to them – they don’t have to be suicidal.
Every six seconds, somebody contacts Samaritans, that’s a privilege, and a huge responsibility. Your support could help to save a life. To find how you can support our branch in Reigate, whether that’s by running for us, donating or volunteering please visit our website.
