There will be a warm-up for all runners. Runners will be encouraged to group on the grass area in front of the start to take part. The start funnel is accessible from this area.

There will be a strong presence from our medical providers at various points along both route and in Priory Park near the start/finish. If at any time during the race you feel unable to continue, please stop, rest and locate the nearest marshal.

Medical teams will be on hand around the course as well as at the start and finish areas. The medical tent will be situated near the finish line and run-off area.

It is vital that you ensure the medical information on the back of your runner number has been completed. It is your responsibility to inform the organisers if you have any special medical conditions.

It is our intention wherever possible to keep the roads open to minimise inconvenience and disruption for local residents and businesses. A number of small part-road and junction closures will apply for short periods on a rolling basis. This means that the section of road or junction will be re-opened immediately after the last runner passes through to allow free flow of traffic.

Our marshals will be stood down from midday, however all runners are encouraged to continue running, every finisher will be chip timed. Any runner still on route after midday will be given the option of a lift to the finish line if they’re struggling to complete the distance.

Your official chip time will be sent to you by SMS as soon as you finish. Results are available on a printed ticket at our results booths in Priory Park and will be published on the results page of our website shortly after the race.

Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female runners in the half marathon and 1st place male and female runners only in the 10k and 5k.

The prize presentation ceremony will take place at 11:45 midday near the finish line.
